Darcy Does Denver.

Here we are, safe and sound. Adam's lucky enough to work the late afternoon/early evening shift, so CJ and I get to play with him in the mornings. And he gets to hobnob with the prime time "talent." Personally, I prefer to watch most of these shows on mute. Beautifully lit, though.

Travel here was blissfully uneventful. Only one bump in the road -- the person assigning seats on the shuttle to the hotel kept offering us one seat. I don't fit in the car seat, at least not when the baby's in it, and it took her awhile to figure that one out.

Sunday was our first full day here, and Adam showed us the works: he took us to Invesco Field and the Pepsi Center. We missed our chance to see the Fox studio outside of the convention center, but did get to meet some lovely secret service agents (very friendly for people armed with every weapon imaginable) and one super delegate (who looked just like a regular person, to my great surprise).

Today we did a little shopping and some sightseeing. But really, the highlight was finding a playground with ginormous foodstuffs. The highlight for me, at least. CJ was pretty nonplussed by the whole thing.
